
A Chinese violinist and chamber musician, he studied with Massimo Quarta—Paganini Competition Gold Medalist and jury member—and Rainer Schmidt (Hagen String Quartet)in Switzerland. He also received times of guidance from distinguished violin masters including Mikhail Kopelman, Pavel Berman, and Ivry Gitlis.
He has been invited to perform extensively in Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom, Russia, Japan, and Taiwan (China). As a soloist, he has collaborated with orchestras such as the Lugano City Chamber Orchestra (Switzerland), Napoli Chamber Orchestra, I Pomeriggi Musicali di Milano, Portuguese Chamber Orchestra, the North Caucasus State Philharmonic Orchestra (Russia), and the Tyumen State Symphony Orchestra (Russia).
His solo concerto performances and recital appearances have taken place at major venues including the RSI Radio and Television Concert Hall, LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura, Lausanne Opera House, Sakura Hall (Japan), Willisauer Bote Hall, Verdi Concert Hall in Milan, Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, Jiangsu Grand Theatre, Shanghai Concert Hall, Tyumen Concert Hall, and Scriabin Hall in Kislovodsk (Russia).
He has worked with renowned conductors such as Wolf-Dieter Hauschild, Alexander Vedernikov, John Neschling, Mario Venzago, Tomáš Netopil, Giuseppe Famularo, Alexander Lonquich, and Nikolay Shugaev.
He is the founder of the Swiss-based Intimo Voci String Quartet, which has been invited to perform chamber music concerts throughout Switzerland, Italy, and Austria. In 2016, the ensemble was invited by TeleTicino (RSI Lugano) to record and broadcast chamber works by Haydn and Mendelssohn.
As a chamber musician, he has collaborated with leading international artists including Massimo Quarta, Danilo Rossi, Enrico Dindo, Yuval Gotlibovich, Dmitry Sitkovetsky, Marco Madrigal, Lorenzo Micheli, Mario Ancellotti, Matteo Fossi, Jonathan Gotlibovich, Stefano Molardi, Vovka Ashkenazy, Paolo Quatteri, and Robert Cohen.
He has appeared as a guest artist at numerous international music festivals, including the Morellino Festival and Capri Festival (Italy), Lake Long Music Festival and Swiss Summer International Music Festival, HIBIKI International Music Festival (Japan), Sobrio Festival (Switzerland), and the Chengdu Ciao Festival.
He has given violin masterclasses worldwide at institutions such as the Tianjin Conservatory of Music, National Tsing Hua University (Taiwan), Tainan National University of the Arts, and the Bergamo Conservatory of Music (Italy).
He is a D’Addario Asia-Pacific endorsed artist, and previously served as Assistant Professor to Massimo Quarta at the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana in Lugano, as well as Concertmaster of the Lugano Chamber Orchestra.
He currently serves as Director of International Affairs at the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana, Visiting Professor of Violin at Nanjing University of the Arts, President of the Swiss International Musicians Association, Artistic Director of the Lugano International Music Festival (Switzerland), and Artistic Director of the HIMA International Music Festival (Japan).
He is also a jury member of the Gubitosa International Violin Competition (Naples, Italy) and Chairman and jury member of the Milan International Competition.
